Youth Olympic Coach - Nuorten Olympiavalmentaja

Finnish Boxing Federation is seeking for a high-level and skilled boxing performance coach for development of the National team boxers.

Roles of the coach

As a Youth Olympic Coach, you will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and monitoring long-term training programs of the national team members. Development of Finnish elite boxing system together with High-Performance Director, Olympic Coach and National team coaches is one of your key roles. You will work closely with athletes, club coaches, and partner organizations to ensure the best possible development pathway of the boxers. As a Youth Olympic Coach, you will participate in regular domestic and international camps and competitions.

  • Commitment to Responsibility Program of Finnish Boxing Federation

  • Communication skills in English.

  • Daily computer use and good working knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).

Position details

  • Plan and lead the national team training program, including planning and delivery of daily training and training camps.

  • Oversee and amend trainings of the URHEA (The Metropolitan Sport Academy) boxing group.

  • Coordinate both the national Elite and Youth boxing program in cooperation with part-time coaches.

  • Lead the national training camps at Pajulahti Olympic Training Center.

  • Participate in coaches national training program.

  • Monitor and identify athlete potential nationwide.

  • Analyze and make recommendations for athlete development.

  • Cooperate with club coaches and stakeholders across Finland.

  • Work closely with High Performance Director and Olympic Coach in all levels of training.


We offer and Contract details

  • Possibility to join competent Finnish Boxing coaching team and Finnish elite sport coaching community.

  • Full-time job, starting in Febrary 2026.

  • Coach is employed under a cooperation agreement between the Finnish Boxing Federation, Finnish Olympic Committee, and Kolmen Kampuksen Urheiluopisto.

  • Contract is tied to the Olympic cycle (2026–2028), with annual review based on funding and performance.
